Obituary of Talon James LITTLE LEAF

October 10, 1995 – Calgary, Alberta

November 3, 2021 – Calgary, Alberta

It is with great heavy hearts we announce the sudden passing of Talon James Little Leaf of Calgary, AB, on Wednesday, November 3, 2021 at the age of 26 years.

Talon was born on Thanksgiving and was baptized at Holy Spirt Catholic Church at a young age. He went to school in Calgary from elementary to high school. Talon had family from Tsuut’ina and Piikani Nation and was proud to be from both. He grew up very close with his siblings, cousins, aunts and uncles and enjoyed spending time with them all. He learnt a lot about respect, love, care, humility, and wisdom from his grandmother’s, Margery and Regina. Whom he loved with all his heart and soul and was very grateful to have them in his life. He looked up to his late aunty, Caralee very much and she meant a lot to him in his life.

Talon played hockey and had a passion for the game. He made many friends throughout the years he played. He also loved to play his video games with his bro’s, who will miss him very dearly. Talon was known to be very sweet, kind and loving to all. He would light up the room when he would walk in and greet you with a big smile and hug that would make your heart melt. He would also give the best advice and was a great ear to listen when you needed someone to talk to. Talon didn’t have any children of his own, but he did take it upon himself to help raise his younger brothers, Justus and Jin. He was their protector and confidant. He did everything and his all for his younger brothers. He loved them immensely. He had one niece too, named Aerith who he treasured and loved so much and was proud to be an uncle. He enjoyed spending time in nature and going on adventures such as, biking, hiking, quadding, and exploring; even making snowman. Music was something he also loved to listen to, especially rock and alternative.

Talon was very much loved by a special friend Sarceena and her family. His lifetime friend and partner for over a decade Cheyella and her family loved him dearly. Him and his best friends Roman, Darren, Ethan and Riley grew up together and were all very close, always looking out for one and other. Recently, he lost one of his closest cousins Jacob, whom he missed dearly, they were soul brothers that had an unbreakable bound. Talon will be greatly missed by all who loved him, especially his little brothers.
