Obituary of Richard Warren Baran

Richard Warren Baran, beloved father of Alicia Baran, of Calgary, AB, and Hannah Baran of Langdon, AB, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, November 10, 2021, at the age of 55 years.

Richard always put others before himself. This was especially true when it came to taking care of people at his workplace at Walden Heights Agecare as a Maintenance Manager for the past six years. He also enjoyed camping, fishing, boating, gardening, and cooking. Most of all, Richard enjoyed spending time with friends and family and watching his daughters grow into thriving young women finding their way in the world.

Richard will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved him. Besides his loving daughters, Richard is survived by his mother, Victoria Baran; brother Greg Baran (Jami Kirk); sister Lisa Helmer (Rob Helmer); niece Brittany Helmer, and nephew Anthony Helmer. Richard is also survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Richard was predeceased by his father, Jack Antoni Baran.
