Condolences
It’s hard to imagine how so much love, kindness, joy, humour, faith, hope and encouragement could inhabit such a tiny body!! But Sandy embodied all those things and more!! Ed and I are honoured to have shared faith and friendship with Sandy (and Dave!). Sandy will be remembered for her big smile, her genuine interest in others and her devotion to God and her church family. Sending our love across the Rockies. Ed and Connie Lewis
Condolences to you. I had the honour of serving with Sandy at Southwood. She was one of the kindest people I have had the pleasure of knowing. We shall miss her a lot.
Ursula and I send our heart felt condolences to the Annesley family with the passing of Sandy. She was an accomplished, gracious and loving woman who will be missed by those who were fortunate enough to have known her. May she Rest In Peace.

I am so deeply saddened to learn of Sandy's passing. We worked together in the Microbiology department at Foothills hospital. Sandy was always such an inspiration, full of energy and positive about life in every way. Her sense of humour was delightful and she was so knowledgeable about many things. I often turned to Sandy for wisdom and just some good heart to heart talks. I've missed not seeing her in recent years. The world has lost a very special lady.
My sincerest condolences to Dave and the girls and all the family and friends who will be missing her.

Sandy was a dear friend and my next door neighbour in Shawnessy until I moved away two years ago. We had facing kitchen windows and every morning (and throughout the day) would greet each other with a smile and a wave. She was a very caring soul, and she connected me at one point to a young family from Mexico whom she had taken “under her wing,” as she did so many others. I was always impressed by how Sandy presented: along with her signature smile, I won’t forget the fine delineation of her turquoise eyeliner and the gorgeous, dangly earrings. When I think of Sandy, I think of warmth, commitment, energy, and an adventurous spirit. I’ll miss her. My sincere sympathies to David, to daughters, Barb and Janet and to son-in-law Erik.
With love, Cordi Hare
I had the pleasure of being a friend of Sandy’s. We had great conversations and she was always delightful. I was proud to be one of her official tasters in the Southwood Church kitchen. Sandy’s wise counsel and cheeky sense of humour were always appreciated. I am going to miss her.
When Father Time winds down the lifespan of a good and worthy contributor to society, such as Sandy, we grieve but also celebrate her contributions as a mentor, friend, family builder and quiet leader by example. Nancy and I send our condolences to David, Barbara, Janet and Kirk -- may her memories sustain you.
