Obituary of Mary Ann Przeczek

Mary Ann Przeczek of Calgary, AB, passed away on Monday, November 22, 2021, at the age of 71 years.

Mary Ann was born on December 10, 1949, in Calgary, Alberta, the daughter of Herta and Reinhold (Bill) Przeczek. Although her mind was clear, her body was failing, and she had reached the end of living with dignity. We had a special ceremony at Agecare Skypointe, which gave friends and relatives a chance to say goodbye. Mary Ann was ready, and had time to mull this decision over, the last gift we could give her was to support her decision and to be there to the very end. The end was quick, peaceful, and she was surrounded by family and friends. Mary Ann loved the people in her life and her cats. She enjoyed entertaining friends, a variety of crafts including beading, colouring and ballroom dancing. Mary Ann (a.k.a. Heather Dawn) was on a spiritual quest when she found the pagan tradition of Wicca. She loved to study and learn about the Gods, Goddesses and rituals of her chosen path. She was passionate about teaching others and sharing her knowledge right up to the point that her health would no longer allow it.

Mary Ann is survived by her brother John (Corrinne); nieces Kara Przeczek and Nicola Przeczek; and several cousins.
