My deepest condolences to you and your family. I knew Don through Canyon Meadows Golf and some of my first rounds as a member were with him and Bill Hans about 12 years ago ~ after the round we had a beer and of course I got in on a couple of the cash games they were playing ~ some of their "birdies and vegas" matches were out of my league but they were fun to watch. Don you will be missed ~ a true gentleman.
We're all going to miss you Donny Boy . The games and the golf trips are among my favorite memories . Rest in Peace pal .
I had coffee regularly with Don. He was a kind and thoughtful man with lots of stories. He always had a smile on his face. He will be missed here at Canyon Meadows Golf & Country Club.
I will always remember and cherish the many miles and numerous golf games that I was able to enjoy with Don. You will be missed.
I was very sorry to hear about Dons passing and my sincere condolences to the family of a man I very much respected. I golfed numerous times with Don and never did beat him. At least when I was being honest. His friendship at our local watering hole is greatly missed as he was easy to talk to and was open to all. Where ever you are Don I know you will still be hitting them straight.
Very sorry to have to hear of Don, passing. My condolences to the Nelson family. I very much enjoyed golfing with Don and Lanny and the guys over the past several years. Not sure which was more fun the golf or the post golf recap over the score card. Don was a gentleman.
