It is with heavy hearts, we announce the sudden passing of our mother, sister, daughter, niece, aunt, granddaughter, Lacey Vangie House on Thursday, November 18, 2021 at the age of 40 years.

Lacey received her education at Exshaw Elementary and Canmore Collegiate High School where she made many friends. She worked at various jobs within the community, she obtained her certificates in computer programming, business management and her level 2 childcare from Bow Valley College. Lacey enjoyed playing baseball and watching sports, especially hockey. She loved going to Round Dances with her aunties. Camping with family was one of her favorite passions for the summer days. She loved being with her children and family. Lacey was a kind, humble, loving person, and she would help anyone who needed a helping hand. 

Lacey leaves behind her children: son Isley and daughter Tianna (Dana); grandchildren, Lilo and Dustina; parents, Rufus and Roxanne; her brothers, Dennis (Crystalene), Dre Tason; sisters, Loralee, Racina House, Kara Twoyoungmen; niece Reanna; nephews, Kylen, Jayden, and Danen; grandnieces, Thais and Autumn; a grandnephew, Drevin; grandparents, Jeff and Evelyn; aunties, Linda, Sandra, Tracey (Juke), and Ladan (David); uncles,  Evan (Margaret), Bowen, Keon, Jason, Homer (Sheila), Freddy (Barbara), Eugene Holloway, Peter, Benji, Perry Goodstoney, Marvin Bigstoney and Adrian Hunter; adopted brothers, Tyree Wildman and Ruben Twoyoungmen; adopted son Quaid Hunter, adopted daughter Tamara Rider. She is also survived by her best friend Zak Rider; as well as the families of House, Hunter, Twoyoungmen, Holloway, Goodstoney, Bigstoney, Amos, Rider, Sunchild-Baptiste and Snow.

Lacey is predeceased by her sons, Baby House (2005), Junior (2012), and Aaron (2014); her grandmother Mary (1996), sister Tylena (2015); aunties, Delores (2020) and Hayley (2021); her uncle Terry (2021), and best friend Kim Labelle.

Wake Services will be held at the residence of Rufus and Roxanne (Morley, AB) on Friday, November 26, 2021 at 12:00 p.m. Funeral Services will be held at the residence of Rufus and Roxanne (Morley, AB) on Saturday, November 27, 2021 at 12:00 p.m.  Graveside Service to follow at Bigstoney Cemetery (Morley, AB).
