Obituary of Sehubo Ekundayo CADMUS

June 16, 1939 – Lagos, Nigeria August 25, 2019 – Calgary, Alberta Sehubo Cadmus beloved husband of the late Christina Cadmus (nee Oyewole) of Calgary, AB, passed away on August 25, 2019 at the age of 80 years. Sehubo was born in Lagos, Nigeria on June 16th 1939. He married Christina on December 23rd, 1963. Sehubo immigrated to Calgary, AB in 1972. He attended University of Calgary in which he achieved many degrees in his studies. He and his wife were one of the founding members of the Nigerian Canadian Association of Calgary (NCAC). Sehubo loved to watch Stampede Wrestling, and the WWE (also known as WWF). Sehubo was passionate about gathering with his friends to talk about politics and he loved going to Heritage Park in Calgary. Sehubo’s favourite saying was “That’s Good and Excellent”. He will be most remembered for his care for others. Sehubo is survived by his son Sunday Cadmus, daughter Debbie Cadmus; ten grandchildren, Melissea Walters, Alitta Cadmus, John Cadmus, Wale Cadmus, Adrian Cadmus-Dixon, Brieanna Cadmus-Dixon, Sade Cadmus, Niya Cadmus, Marcus Cadmus, and Mariya Cadmus and one great-grandchild Aaron Cadmus. Sehubo also survived by his son-in-law, Mr. Devon Dixon, daughter-in-law Mrs. Marline Cadmus, sister-in-law Mrs. Oluwemimo Adeyanju and bother-in-law Mr. Kofo Martin; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY (), on Saturday, September 14, 2019 at 10:30 a.m. Graveside Service to follow at Queen’s Park Cemetery.
