Obituary of Janet Mah

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Janet Mah on Thursday, November 25, 2021, at the age of 88 years. Janet lived her life full of love for her family.

She is survived by her daughter-in-law, Nancy; grandson Ryan and wife Nadia; great-grandson Thomas; and grandson Lucas; son and daughter-in-law, Harry and Christine; granddaughter Nicole and husband Matthew; great-granddaughters Annie and Willa; son Jerry and daughter-in-law Brenda; grandsons, Branden, Cody, and Mackenzie; Two daughters, Eva and Zeva; son-in-law, Curtis; granddaughter, Jade and grandson Kale; and nine siblings and their families.

She was predeceased by her husband of 60 years, Norman Mah, and her eldest son, Barry A. Mah.

Funeral Services will be held at McInnis & Holloway (Chapel of The Bells, 2720 Centre Street North, Calgary, AB), on Saturday, December 4, 2021, at 1:00 P.M. Graveside Service to follow at Queen’s Park Cemetery (4th Street and 31st Avenue N.W). Reception to follow in the Hospitality Centre at the Funeral Home. Those attending will be asked to provide valid government identification (with name and date of birth) AND confirm one of the following: (A)Provincial vaccine record with QR code (paper or digital); OR (B)negative COVID test (within 72 hours); or (C)valid medical exemption (signed letter); OR (D)under 12 years of age.
