Barry Wilson beloved husband of Donna (Brooks) of Calgary, AB, passed away on Sunday, November 28, 2021, at the age of 84 years.

Barry was born in Calgary, Alberta, Canada on December 17, 1936. Barry graduated from the University of Calgary with a Degree in Education. He received his Master of Education, from Gonzaga University in Spokane, Washington. Barry spent his entire career as a teacher and Principal with the Calgary Catholic School District and made many lifelong friends along the way. Barry was extremely passionate about his job and looked forward to going to work everyday. He was a mentor and a role model for both students and teachers. Barry was always willing to lend an ear and would take time to listen and advise anyone who asked or needed his help.  

Barry enjoyed hiking with family and friends in the mountains and liked to find interesting places to drive to and explore. Barry also golfed weekly with good friends, and it was always followed of by lunch of course. Barry loved to visit the west coast every fall with his family and thoroughly appreciated the beautiful scenery.

He will be most remembered for his love of family and friends. Barry was generous, kind, and loyal. His sense of humour was well known and he was always smiling.

Besides his loving wife Donna of 59 years, Barry is survived by his four children, Gregory, Kent, Jocelyn, Doran, and his daughter-in-law Angela Wilson. He is also survived by six loving grandchildren, Klayton Deisman, Miles, Garrett, and Owen Pawlivsky and Riley and Jamieson Wilson.

Barry was predeceased by his father Alexander, mother Stella, baby brother Douglas, and brother-in-law Barry Brooks.
