Obituary of Barbara Ann Pamati-an

December 26, 1962 - Bacolod City, Philippines

December 1, 2021 - Calgary, Alberta

It is with profound sadness that the family of Barbara Ann Pamati-an (nee Prado) of Calgary, AB, announce her peaceful passing on Wednesday, December 1, 2021, at the age of 58 years.

Barbara Ann was a pharmacist in the Philippines before moving to Calgary to provide a better life for her beloved children.  She was a hardworking health care provider, a strong-willed mother and wife, and a very generous person to family members and friends. She loved to travel and enjoy sceneries of mountains and lakes, baking fantastic pastries, and hosting celebrations for family and friends. She continuously thrived in her duties as a daughter, mother and wife, and as a devout Catholic, and wished for the same towards people she cared for.  She heartily reveled on her triumphs and the triumphs of others and remained remarkably impregnable against adversities until the end of life.

She will be lovingly remembered by her husband Daniel; children, Charmaine Ann and Marc Daniel; her mother, Sofia; brothers, Gerry, Tony and Archie; and her cousins, nieces and nephews, family-in-laws and friends. She was predeceased by her father.
