Kerry Kostner

Obituary of Kerry Dale Kostner

May 27, 1961 - Drumheller, Alberta

December 1, 2021 – Calgary, Alberta

Kerry Kostner, beloved son, father, brother and friend, passed away on Wednesday, December 1, 2021, at the age of 60 years.

Kerry was a man of faith, grace, hope, and acceptance. Kerry was very humble and was a kind-hearted man. He was very religious and always spoke highly of the Bible, God, his faith, and family. He would help anyone in need and do his best to help in any way he could.

He was a man of few possessions, but he had a lot of love and humanity to share. He was a proud father and grandfather. Kerry cherished the memories of time with his granddaughter. He loved her so much and would light up when she entered the room. Kerry would brag about his children and grandchildren to all his friends and family.

He could make anyone laugh and make people feel good just by being around him. He loved his family, his brothers and sisters, and his parents. He was a man who would tell stories and reminisce about the past and would tell them to anyone who would listen. He had his family, and so many friends, who will miss his laugh, his smile, his squinty eyes when he would be joking or laughing, and his knowledge about life.

He will be missed by so many people, and it's with heavy hearts we put him to rest. He is finally at peace, and we will cherish those memories we have with him until we see him again.

Then Jesus said, "Come to me all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest" - Matthew 11:28

Kerry is survived by his parents, Loretta Kostner, Richard Kostner (Louise); siblings, Grant Kostner, Darcy Kostner, Shelley Kostner and Rick Kostner (Debbie); son, Korey Kostner; daughters, Keri-Anne Kostner, and Jennifer; stepson Kyle Chestnut; and granddaughter, Maddison Macleod, girlfriend Minnie Gloria; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
