Condolences
I worked with Ben at the ALCB from 1981 to 1992 when he retired. Ben always had a good story to share and I remember his "to do" list that he kept handy all the time. Playing poker with Ben and the gang was tons of fun! My condolences to Loreley and family.
I had the privilege of working with Ben at the ALCB. I enjoyed his quick wit, and I had the utmost respect for him. My deepest condolences to Loreley and all his family.

50 years ago in Thorney Island Ben and Loreley were our”crazy Canadian “ neighbours! Ben came up with so many hilarious shanningans- inserting a giant key on the back of Lorerley’s little fiat like a life size wind up toy ( she kept it on for a year!)- hilarious first aid kit to my parents as we left for the USA posting, and introducing us to toasted marshmallows ( so exotic then!!) as kids! So much laughter, so much fun and so much passion for life! An unforgettable man!
I met Ben in the late 70's and worked along side him during his ALCB years. One of the brightest and funniest guys I have ever met. It was a privilege to have known him.
Loreley and family, Laura and I are so sorry for your loss. With sympathy

My wonderful uncle Ben, He was always such a gentleman and was someone i always looked up to. Generous, funny, sincere and caring. I've met few people that could light up the room like Ben could when giving any kind of speech or toast. His stories about flying were captivating. His humor was hysterical. I will truly miss my uncle Ben. Our condolences and love to my aunt Lor, and cousins Ben and Lou. I hope we can get together soon and celebrate having Ben in our lives for as long as we did.
Our sincere condolences to Lor and family on the passing of Ben.
