Obituary of Roberta Jane Spence

SPENCE, Roberta Jane

November 21, 1991 – Vancouver, British Columbia

December 5, 2021 – Calgary, Alberta

Roberta Spence, passed away on Sunday, December 5, 2021, at the age of 30 years.

Roberta was a beautiful girl who had many hopes and dreams. Unfortunately, she was faced with many challenges from an early age, but she never gave up trying.  Roberta was placed in foster care at birth and was raised by a family that loved her dearly and still love her today. She was still quite young when she was returned to live with her mom and stepdad. At the age of seventeen her mom passed away which was very difficult for her to deal with, and she continued to struggle until her passing. She will be remembered for how much she loved her family. Her siblings always felt loved by her.  

Roberta is survived by her daughter Summer, siblings, Eric, Stephanie, Maddison, Willow and numerous uncles, aunts, and cousins. She was predeceased by her mom Julie and grandma Coradell.

Those wishing to pay their respects may do so at McInnis & Holloway (Fish Creek, 14441 Bannister Road SE, Calgary, AB) on Sunday, December 12, 2021, from 1:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Funeral Service will be held at McInnis and Holloway Funeral Homes, Fish Creek (14441 Bannister Road SE, Calgary, AB) on Monday, December 13, 2021, at 10:30 a.m. Graveside Service to follow at Tsuut’ina Cemetery (Tsuut’ina Nation, AB). Family and friends who are unable to attend in person are invited to join Mrs. Spence’s service streamed live (see below) on the day of the service.
