Obituary of Robert Nelson Rabbit

Robert Nelson Rabbit was called home by our Creator on Wednesday, December 8, 2021 at the age of 39 years.

He enjoyed carpentry and mechanics as well as hunting, he loved to be with his kids and family. He was very excited to have a granddaughter. 

Robert is survived by his children, Tishauna (Adam) Kootenay, Jayden Rabbit, Terrell Rabbit, Matthew Rabbit, Jimmy Rabbit, Aiden Rabbit; and granddaughter Kili Kootenay. He is also survived by his mother Tilda (Audley) Stephens, his siblings, Retilla Rabbit, Sherman Rabbit, John Stephens, Venora (Rowan) Stephens and Mary Stephens; aunties, Sheila Labelle, Barbara Hunter, Amy (Calvin) Thunder, Bryleen (Randy) Holloway, Phillamine Stephens, Tracey Stephens; uncles, Jeff (Evelyn) Hunter, Irvin (Linda) Rabbit, Harvey (Delphine) Rabbit, Leo Poucette, Kevin (Lola) Hunter, Glen Stephens, Virgil Stephens; as well as numerous aunties, uncles and cousins and close friends, we apologize if we have missed anyone.

Robert was predeceased by his children, Eiden Rabbit, Laila Kootenay; his father Bruce Nepoose, his grandparents, Nelson and Flora Rabbit; his brothers, Jim Stephens, Charlie Shortneck, Willy Rabbit, Tony Rabbit, Andrew Lightning; as well as numerous aunties, uncles and cousins and friends.

Wake Services will be held at the residence of Tilda Stephens (Morley, AB) on Wednesday, December 15, 2021. Funeral Services will be held at the residence of Tilda Stephens (Morley, AB) on Thursday, December 16, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. Graveside Service to follow at Bearspaw Cemetery (Morley, AB).
