Condolences
I was on Council when Clayton was Mayor - he was well liked, well respected, and did a great job as Mayor. I liked him as a Mayor and as a person. I think the nicest thing he ever did for me was to attend my father's funeral in Lethbridge. Though I hadn't seen him for years, I was saddened to read the notice in the Brooks Bulletin. There were so many events as a Council that we participated in but the memories are too numerous to mention. Just as a side note I remember Bobby as well - I was his travel consultant at times, but I remember being at your family house and Bobby was playing the piano. Please accept my sincerest condolences. Our deepest condolences Pat to you and your family on the passing of Clayton. When we moved into this community 9 years ago Clayton was the first neighbor we met. We always enjoyed our chats over the fence and Lola always liked getting a pat on the head from Clayton when we were out on our walk. Clayton was always smiling and upbeat and willing to lend a tool or offer advice when needed. We will dearly miss the chats and friendly wave from the deck that we always received. Our heart goes out to you all in the loss of this great man. Please let us know if there is anything that we can help you with Pat.
