Dale Ludwig, beloved husband of Brenda Lauszus, of Calgary, AB, passed away on Saturday, December 18, 2021, at the age of 52 years.

 

Dale was born in Brandon, Manitoba on January 1, 1969, to parents Richard and Helen. Dale attended Beaverbrook Highschool then Completed his Journeyman Certificate in Sheet Metal from SAIT in 1992. He established his own business in 2005 and became the proud owner of Direct Air Ltd.

 

Dale married Brenda in 1997 and together they had two beautiful children. He was a member of the Wild Rose Motocross Association #212 as well as the Sheet Metal Contractors Association.  Dale enjoyed Working side by side with his wife and kids, Lukas and Eric. He Loved to travel to California with his dirt bike to ride with his friends. Loved to travel to any state to watch supercross with his family and friends. His hobbies included Motocross, watching Supercross with his friends, hockey, football and golf. Dale will be remembered for his dedication to his family, friends and work.

 

Besides his loving wife Brenda, Dale is survived by two sons, Lukas (Justine Agana) and Eric of Calgary; sister Wendy Iwaskiw (Kent) of Calgary; parents, Rick and Helen from Vulcan. Dale is also survived by his Aunt Brenda (Glen) McLachlan of Calgary; uncles, Jim (Cathie) Hayes of Whiterock BC and David (Brenda) Ludwig of Carlisle England; nieces, Alexis and Mckenzie of Calgary; pets, Bentley, Chloe, Uma, Larry and Macy; as well as numerous friends.

 

An "open house" Celebration of life will be held at McInnis & Holloway (Deerfoot South, 12281 – 40th Street SE, Calgary, AB) on Saturday, January 1, 2022 from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m.  Those attending will be asked to provide valid government identification (with name and date of birth) AND confirm one of the following: (A)Provincial vaccine record with QR code (paper or digital); OR (B)negative COVID test (within 72 hours); or (C)valid medical exemption (signed letter); OR (D)under 12 years of age.
