Obituary of Margaret Evelyn George

March 21, 1950 – Calgary, Alberta

December 22, 2021 – Okotoks, Alberta

Margaret George, beloved wife of Dave George, of Calgary, AB, peacefully passed away on Wednesday, December 22, 2021 at the age of 71 years after a valiant battle with cancer.

She loved animals, especially her dog, Molly, reading, sculpting, wood carving, tending to her plants, staying active and travelling.

Margaret will be lovingly remembered by her devoted husband, her children and their spouses Matt (Shannon) and Sarah (Rob); as well as her grandchildren, Keara, Ivy and Ramona.  She will also be lovingly remembered by her siblings, Joe (Janice), Georgina, Valentine (Tim), Leona (Wally) and George. Margaret was predeceased by her parents Joe and Rose, stepfather George, as well as her sister Susan (survived by Peter).

We will dearly miss our small but mighty warrior who left each of us better for having known her.  May her light shine on in us.
