Obituary of Sidney Elizabeth Kirk

February 4, 1935 – Montreal, Quebec
December 23, 2021 – Calgary Alberta

Elizabeth “Beth” Kirk (nee Bentley) of Calgary, AB, passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 23, 2021, at the age of 86 years. 

Beth will be dearly missed by her six children, Susan Walker of Lacombe, AB, Margaret Christison (Dennis) of Pointe Claire, QC, Susan McEwan (David) of Didsbury, AB, Michael Christison (Terra) of Comox, BC, Graham Christison, Toronto, ON, and Stephen Christison (Cynthia) of Calgary, AB; and twelve grandchildren, Brooke, Tyler, Liam, Karli, Stephanie, Matthew, Chance, McKenzie, Cameron, Brigid, Jack, and William. Beth is also survived by her sister Barbara Wright (Jamie) of Moncton, NB, as well as nieces, nephew, cousins, and many friends. Beth was predeceased by her parents, Leota Bentley (nee Killam) and Kenneth Bentley; brother Robert Bentley, all of Nova Scotia; and brother Paul Jardine of Edmonton, AB.

At her wish, no funeral will be held. A private family gathering will be held at a future date. Condolences, memories and photos can also be shared and viewed here.
