Obituary of Christino Pietrovito

December 24, 2021 – Calgary, Alberta

 

Chris Pietrovito, beloved husband of Cristina (nee Lupacchino), of Calgary AB, passed away on Friday, December 24, 2021 at the age of 86 years.

 

Chris was born in Sepino, Campobasso, Italy on May 23, 1935. Chris married Cristina on June 27, 1959, and together they had four children, Rosa, Tony, John, and Christopher. Chris enjoyed his career in construction and was extremely proud of his involvement in the construction of the Calgary Tower and many other familiar downtown buildings in Calgary. Chris accomplished much through his life and was particularly proud of his family and loved spending time with his seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

 

Besides his loving wife, Chris is survived by his daughter Rosa, son-in-law Stephen, and three sons and two daughters-in-law, Tony, John (Rita) and Christopher (Christie).

 

Chris is also survived by his brother Tony (Louise) and four sisters, Cristina, Maria, Assunta (Dale), Jane (Murray) and his sister-in-law Rita; as well as his uncle, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Chris was predeceased by his brother Rudy, brother-in-law Renato, and his grandson Robert.

 

Those wishing to pay their respects may do so at McInnis & Holloway (Chapel Of The Bells, 2720 Centre Street North, Calgary, AB) on Tuesday, December 28, 2021 from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
