Obituary of Marianne Margaret Ambrogiano

December 23, 2021 – Calgary, Alberta

 

Marianne Ambrogiano (nee Mogus), beloved wife of Mike Ambrogiano, of Calgary AB, passed away on Thursday, December 23, 2021, at the age of 54 years.

 

Marianne was born in Lethbridge, AB, on October 12, 1967, and moved to Calgary at the age of fourteen. Marianne graduated from Mount Royal College to earn her degree in Information Technology. She joined Gibson Energy in 1995, where she worked for twenty-six years. Mike and Marianne were married in 2004 and welcomed their daughter Natalia in 2007.

 

Besides her husband Mike, and daughter Natalia, Marianne is survived by her two sisters and their partners, Glenda and Andy, and Paulette and Al; two brothers and partner, Brad, and Sean and Shelley. She is also survived by her mother-in-law Elvira, brother-in-law Garry, two sisters-in-law, Daniela, and Stacy; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

 

Marianne was predeceased by her mother Jeanette Foley, brother Mike Mogus, and father-in-law Charlie.

 

Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Mother Mary of the Redeemer (1714 - 14th Avenue NE, Calgary) on Thursday, December 30, 2021, at 10:30 a.m. Graveside services will follow immediately at Mountain View Memorial Gardens (1515 - 100th Street SE, Calgary). Vaccinated family and friends attending will be asked to provide valid government identification (with name and date of birth) AND confirm the following: (A)Provincial vaccine record with QR code (paper or digital).
