Irwin Mullin of Calgary, AB, passed away on Saturday, December 25, 2021, at the age of 74 years.

Irwin was born in St. Phillip, Barbados, on January 12, 1947, where he lived for some time and received his education. He was a member of the British Army and lived in Germany, Dominican Republic, the United Kingdom, and Ontario, eventually settling into Calgary. Irwin was also affectionally known as Moo-Lack. Irwin had many hobbies but enjoyed cricket, dominoes, entertaining guests and taking care of his home. He had a particular skill for creative problem solving. He will be most remembered for his boisterous laugh, great sense of humour, his willingness to help others, his love for his peppery food, and his overall enjoyment of life.

Besides his loving daughters, Danielle and Mirielle Mullin, Irwin is survived by his grandson Markus Mullin, his daughter’s mother, Paulette Mullin; his seven brothers, Collis of Portugal, Leslie of U.S.A, Anthony of Jamaica, Kenneth of Barbados, Jules of Canada and Florida, Ewald of Barbados, and Nigel of Canada and Florida. Irwin is also survived by his sister Melvie Mullin-Kinch, of U.S.A, his favourite aunt, Elva Ward of Barbados; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Irwin was predeceased by his parents Grafton and Vesta Mullin, and his grandparents Livingstone and Mary Sealy.
