Obituary of Helene Mary Habina

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Helene Habina. Helene Habina beloved wife of Imre Habina of Calgary, AB, passed away on Saturday, December 25, 2021 at the age of 80 years.

Helene was born in Fassett, Quebec, Canada on April 12, 1941. Helene met her beloved husband Imre Habina while living in Fassett, Quebec. Helene was predeceased by her dear husband Imre Habina and his brother Joseph Habina.

She was a member of the Catholic Church and Religion was very important to her. Helene accomplished much through her life and was particularly proud of her two sons.

Helene had a passion for knitting and crafts. She was known to spend hours making slipper and blankets for her family. She will be most remembered for her smile and her sense of humor.

Beloved wife, mother, sister, and friend. She will forever be loved and remembered by her two sons, Michael Habina and Jack Habina (YouRee); two grandchildren, Branden Habina and Courtney Habina; special mention to friend Laura Habina; as well to the numerous friends that will remember her fondly.

The family would like to thank the staff at Monterey Seniors Village for their care and compassion while caring for Helen over the years.

As per Helene’s wishes no formal services will be held.
