Obituary of Jim Lyall

LYALL, James “Jim” Michael

December 25, 2021 - Calgary, Alberta

It is with broken hearts we announce the passing of James Michael Lyall on Saturday, December 25, 2021, at the age of 59 years.

Jim was a dedicated family man, his family was his focus, love, and pride. He was blessed with lifelong friends from the Acadia community, along with the many friends he made while working at Telus for 38 years and being involved in the community, coaching hockey, and baseball.  Jim loved camping, golfing and being involved in his sons’ sports, he was looking forward to the days when he could cheer on his grandchildren. Jim’s smile and sense of humour never failed to lighten up a room. We will love him and miss him until we are together again.

Left to celebrate his life and honor his memory are his wife, Mary; sons, Jesse (Melissa) and Joshua (Danielle); grandchildren, Jordan and Madison; father Jim Sr; sister Christie; mother-in-law Marwood; his five brothers-in-law and their families; his extended family and Jim’s friends.

The family will be having a private service on Saturday, January 22, 2022, starting at 2:00pm. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
