Obituary of Kendra Lee Gratton

March 23, 1970 – Edmonton, Alberta

December 26, 2021 – Calgary, Alberta

Kendra Gratton, beloved wife of Jean-Francois Gratton and mother of Zeya Gratton, of Calgary, AB, passed away on Sunday, December 26, 2021, at the age of 51 years.

Besides her loving husband and son, Kendra is survived by her mother Caroline Showers; and her three sisters, Karla Showers, Kelly Showers and Kim Showers, all residing in Victoria, BC. Kendra is also survived by her niece Isabelle and nephews, Kyle and Colin, as well as family-in-law, Denis, Nicole, Marie-Claude, Calvin, Vincent and Allison, and numerous friends. She was predeceased by her father Terence Showers.

A Celebration of Kendra’s Life will be held at McInnis & Holloway (Deerfoot South, 12281 – 40th Street SE, Calgary, AB) on Wednesday, January 5, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. MST. Reception to follow in the Hospitality Centre at the Funeral Home. Family and friends who are unable to attend in person are invited to join Kendra’s service streamed live (see below) on the day of the service. For those who are unable to view live, a recording of the service will be posted. Those attending will be asked to provide valid government identification (with name and date of birth) AND confirm one of the following: (A)Provincial vaccine record with QR code (paper or digital); OR (B)negative COVID test (within 72 hours); or (C)valid medical exemption (signed letter); OR (D)under 12 years of age.
