Obituary of Reginald Phillips BAKER

August 14, 1928 – Calgary, Alberta November 29, 2017 – Calgary, Alberta Reginald Phillips Baker passed away on November 29, 2017 at the age of 89 years. Reg was born in Calgary on August 14, 1928 and lived most of his life in Calgary. He played the bass horn in the Salvation Army junior boys band and the bass drum in the Royal Canadian Sea Cadets and HCMS Tecumseh bands. He was employed in the residential drywall contracting business and long time member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #264, Calgary. Reg is survived by his sister Patricia Volk; brothers, Tom, Fred and Jim Baker; daughters Marion Buckton, Paula Sinclair and Irene Lynch; son Jim Baker; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents John and Nellie Baker; sister Frances Christoffersen; brothers, George, Jack and Robert Baker; and partner Evelyn Partridge. A Celebration of Life will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY (Chapel of the Bells, 2720 Centre Street North, Calgary, AB) on Wednesday, December 13, 2017 from 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Condolences may be forwarded through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
