Obituary of Ace Mason Labelle

June 9, 1980 – Calgary, Alberta
December 26, 2021 –Calgary, Alberta

It is with great sadness we announce the sudden passing of Ace Mason Labelle.

Ace was friendly with a good heart. He helped anyone in need. Quite humorous and full of jokes, making friends anywhere he went. Ace loved his family and his partner. Ace especially loved his children. He was a caregiver to his mother; very attentive and willing. He was raised in Morley, AB with Stoney culture and values. He participated in dancing grass, men’s traditional and song at pow wows. He loved hockey, baseball and had many other hobbies. Whatever Ace put his mind and hands to he always finished the task. When asked anything of him he would not hesitate. Acey boy, we will miss your humour, your laugh and your crazy outgoing spirit.

Ace leaves behind his partner Garadine, his daughters, Kianna and Jeanine; sons, Emmet and Dreacesyn; his loving mother Madeline Labelle, sister Tiona, brothers, Lonnie (Rolanda) and Monte (Cheryl); niece Tierra Kessy (Eli), nephew Trendon, half-sisters, Kyla (Bobby) and Alanise; half-brothers, Steve and Lyle; aunties, Myra, Muriel, Laura (Louie) Germaine, Pam (Keon), Joyleen (Hank), and Bernadine (Lyndon); uncles, Rudy (Myra) and Garnet (Miranda); numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, grandchildren, and friends. He also leaves behind many adopted mothers, sisters, brothers, nieces and nephews.

Ace was predeceased by his father Lyle Cody Wildman, brothers, Emmett, Cody “Coutts”, and Brennan Labelle; maternal grandparents, Bill Mclean and Caroline Labelle; paternal grandparents, Percy and Violet Wildman; great-grandparents, Tatanga Mani, Flora McLean, and Alec and Jesse Labelle; and numerous family.
