Al Bremner (Charles Alexander Bremner) of Calgary, AB, passed away unexpectedly in his home on Sunday, January 2, 2022, at the age of 59 years.

 

Al was born in Calgary, AB, on December 5, 1962. He attended St. Mary’s High School where he excelled in athletics. He was employed as a truck driver. Al will be remembered for his dry sense of humour and his love of music, football, and NASCAR. He enjoyed several years working on a NASCAR crew team with his brother, Robert Bremner. He was especially proud of being a part of Jarred Whissel’s team, competing at numerous tracks in Canada.

 

Al is survived by his stepdaughter Kailee Roche and family of Calgary, AB; his brother Robert Bremner and wife Linda of Phoenix, AZ; nephews Daniel and Glen Bouchard and family, Michael and Sean Bremner; and niece Aleasha Loblaw (Bremner) and family of Calgary, AB.

 

Al was predeceased by his long-time partner Lisa Roche, his parents Robert and Mary Bremner; and his sister Darlene Bouchard (Bremner).
