Condolences
Cathy, I was so sad to hear of your Dad's passing. Sad, because I know all of you will miss him so very much. At the same time, celebratory that he and your mom were both still sharing their lives together up until the time of his passing. How fortunate; regardless, my heart goes out to your mom and may she be comforted.
I have fond memories of Jim, not only at your house and your Dad showing his latest, well done carpentry projects, but especially being invited on a couple of the family camping trips to Radium and Salmon Arm, B.C. Remember those? I got a kick out of your Dad being the ultimate tour guide with the gift of the gab, pointing out sites along the way and always with a great sense of humor intertwined. He loved to playfully joke and tease and I remember your mom in the front seat with you, Richie and I in the back being entertained by him and your mom's laughter as he ribbed her along.
He was a force of nature setting up camp and his excitement and respect for nature was contagious. I never once remember your Dad without a big smile on his face. He was a dear, kind and passionate person and one could feel the love he had for his family.
My heartfelt condolences to Geri, Cathy, Sheila, John and extended family. You were blessed to have had such a wonderful father and loving husband. May he rest in peace,
Love Carolyn Brunton
