Claire Marie Girouard, beloved wife of the late Daniel John Girouard, of Calgary, AB, passed away on Saturday, January 15, 2022 at the age of 95 years. 

Claire is survived by her children, Marguerite Weidmann (Fritz), Richard Girouard (Beverly), Paula Kelly (Brian), Paul Girouard (Kirsten); grandchildren, Robert Girouard (Andrew), Tedd Girouard (Marie), Debbie Kelly (Jason), Sonja Weidmann, Michael Weidmann (Kate), Stephanie Weidmann; great-grandchildren, Ben and Brian Weidmann, and Odin Kelly-Levy.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch No. 238 (138 Bowness Centre NW, Calgary, AB) on Saturday, January 29, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. The Legion will be implementing the Restrictions Exemption Program for COVID-19, and seating will be limited. In living memory of Claire Marie Girouard, a tree will be planted in the Ann & Sandy Cross Conservation Area.
