Condolences
Barb and I have been friends for almost 50 years. I am heartbroken. We had so many things that we still wanted to do together. But I also have hundreds of beautiful memories. Barb was kind, generous, smart and funny. I can’t imagine my life without her. Rest In Peace my friend.
I too worked with Barb at the Alberta Human Rights Commission and my wife Sabera Docrat and I have fond memories of BJ as we knew her at the Commission. Our friendship continued when we returned to Toronto and BJ also came this way for work and adventure. Sadly we lost touch with her over the years, but the memories remain and we are saddened to hear of her passing. Our condolences to her family.
I worked with Barb many years ago at the Alberta Human Rights Commission. In fact, we shared the name - Barb Cook. This was a source of confusion to many but a source of amusement for both of us. I am saddened to hear of her passing. Although we didn’t keep in touch through the years, I remember Barb as a kind, helpful person who was always willing to lend a hand. My condolences to her family.
Barb was a treasured friend for many years. We'll miss her deeply. Our condolences to the Cook family.
Barb & Richard Keshen
Dear Mrs. Cook, Bob, Bonnie, Don and Anne Marie,
Holding each of you in my thoughts and prayers, I'm sure knowing Barb is no longer suffering is some comfort at this time. Wishing you peace, comfort and courage to face the days ahead.
I cannot imagine life without Barb - after sharing 38 years of friendship; but I know she will be a whisper away, so I will continue to chat with her and treasure all the special memories shared with her.
Barb will be held forever in so many hearts she touched, each one so unique and truly caring.
Love,
Stephanie
