Condolences
We have known Bill and Shirley since 1997..had kept in touch with them and our only regret is that we didn’t visit them around Christmas time as we talked about..the moral of the story is to do things and do the visiting before it is too late..am glad that we did get a couple of visits in last year…the world has lost another wonderful person!!!
We are thinking of you all today. Sorry we could not be there in person. The weather stopped us from being able to make the trip. We have many memories of your dad/grandfather from 17th avenue as well as Springbank. And we appreciate all of you and are praying for you now.
We first met Bill many years ago through his son, Dave (Dianne) when Bill and Shirley arranged for us to have our wedding photos taken in their beautiful gardens at Ripley Ridge B&B. A year later we spent our first anniversary at the wonderful little cottage in the woods again at Ripley Ridge B&B. They were wonderful hosts. This place on the hill was a little bit of paradise created by Bill and Shirley with stunning attention to detail and workmanship. A true testimony to Bills skill, care and love for nature.
Our sincere condolences go out to the entire Ripley family in this time of sorrow and loss. What I know for sure about Bill is that there is comfort in knowing that after a life well lived and of service, loved by many, he is now in the arms of his Lord and Savior for eternity.
I never met Bill.
I have know Shawn for years.
The apple falls from the tree and rolls, but not far.
My condolences to Bill's family and friends.
Rest In Peace.
Christine
