Jim Keating, beloved husband of Betty Keating, of Calgary, AB, passed away on Thursday, January 20, 2022, at the age of 91 years. Jim Passed away surrounded by his loved ones after a battle with cancer

Jim was born in Halifax, NS, on June 3, 1930, to Leo Keating and Vinnie Casey. While growing up, he spent the summers with his grandparents in Canso, NS, where he made many friends that he kept close throughout his entire life. Jim was a dedicated husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He dedicated his life to his family, and always put others before himself. He was an avid traveler that loved to explore new places with his family and was one that never shied away from new experiences. Jim’s job sent him around the world, and he was regularly commended for the asset he was to each person he worked with, receiving many accolades for the work he did.

Jim is survived by his wife Betty Keating; and five grandchildren, Chase, John (Hanna), Samantha (Doug), Victoria (Kyle), and Dylan. Jim was predeceased by his two children, Timothy, and Robin.
