Condolences
My deepest sympathy to Marlene and all the family. I first met Jack at a family reunion in Alberta. I knew of him prior, but we had never met. Such a kind and gentle man. I recently learned of his passing and send my love to his family. My brothers and their wives - Vern and Anna Carter, Ted and Dale Carter, Ralph and Carol Carter, Don and Judy Carter, and I - Ardelle Thake send you all of our love.
While we never actually met, I corresponded with Jack's mother and other family members relating to family tree material. It was quite a shock to me that Jack had passed on. Our sincere condolences to all the family.
Regards to all, Jack Begg, Saskatoon, SK
It was great to know Jack and Marlene and I am most grateful for their volunteering in Ethiopia through the organization VICS. It was at subsequent VICS gatherings that I first met Jack and learned of his great contribution to the food bank and to life in general. My deepest sympathy to Marlene and the family. May Jack now Rest In Peace.

As a brother i really did not know Jack that well but the memories i have of him are all good.We had a large family and by the time i was born Jack had already left home and was working for a living. Children left home early in those days , i believe Jack was only 14 or 15 when he joined the work force so i did not see him much when i was young but he would come home occasionally to visit the family and i remember how impressed i was with his new clothes and flashy cars. Jack was a strong man with a handshake that was hard to forget and it was tough to see him with his troubles in his later years.I am very happy he is in Heaven and at peace and may you be at peace also Marlene after these last many years of caring for Jack with love and devotion and grace. Our sympathy to you and Derek and Tammy and Brent and family.

Our sincere condolences to Marlene and Family. We have fond memories of Jack, whom we met at one of his many volunteer activities. He was a dedicated volunteer, who touched many lives, and a real gentleman.
Sincerely, Gail and Charlie Kiemele
Our condolences to Marlene & family. Worked with Jack for many years at Amoco and Jack always had that smile that you see in his photograph. He was the drilling contract specialist in the Production Department. We also spent some time nurturing and harvesting his Garden of Eat'n.

Jack was an amazing guy, and I will never forget my time with him and Marlene over the years. A most 'giving' man.
