I am so sorry for your loss. When I heard of Apostoli's passing, I was shocked and deeply saddened. He was a bright light in this world and I was so honored to be one of his teachers. Watching him emerge from the awkward grade 7 student to the young man who was confident enough to share all his compassion and humour was a great joy. Even when he was being cheeky, his kind heart shone through. My last memory of Ap was when he visited at Winter Break in his second year of uni - he seemed to have fully come into his own. It doesn't seem right that he should leave this earth do soon. My thoughts are with your family as you process this terrible loss.

I just learned of Apostoli's death and I am deep in memory of the spirited boy I met when he was in grade 3 and his energetic approach to learning. His spirits were always high and he was so eager to explore his curiosities in his own unique way, endearing himself to those who had the opportunity to work with him. I remember our various interactions over the years, his charm and his willingness to try new things. He had a low tolerance for the mundane and always had creative ways to approach new challenges.

I see that he continued to be a deeply creative and inquisitive person into his early adulthood. He will be missed and even in the limited time I had with him over the years, he will live on in stories I tell others about this one kid I worked with who had a really neat way to approach problems in his own spirited way.
