Obituary of Terry Thomas Jones

Terry Thomas Jones of Calgary, AB, passed away on Tuesday, January 25, 2022, after battling cancer for just over a year, at the age of 71 years.

Terry was born on December 2^nd, 1950, at the Innisfail Hospital. He was raised in the Renfrew area of Calgary and attended Stanley Jones Elementary Junior High, and Crescent Heights High School. Terry was an extraordinary business owner and welder. He always enjoyed the time he spent building race cars and being around the guys at Race City. He loved the time he played hockey for the Good Ol’ Boys and the many laughs he shared with his teammates. Terry was a strong man, with a heart of gold and he would help anyone that needed help. He was fiercely loyal to his family, and closest friends. His sense of humor was priceless; he would leave you in tears. He could light up a room with his smile.

Terry is survived by his loving and devoted, care-giving daughter, Sheri, his best friend, and brother Jim (Gladys), his brother-in-law Clayton Metzger, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Terry was predeceased by his wife Sharron, his father Lew, and mother Emily (Peggy), his sisters, Doreen, Doris, Beverly, and Debbie, and numerous aunts, uncles, and grandparents.
