It is very difficult to adeqately express the sadness both Velma and I feel about the passing of Bil. I often recall when he and I in 1954, road my motercycle to Lethbridge to paint the train bridge. He bought that bike when I joined the RCAF.Velma and I sish to express our condolances to all the family and especilly Verna and George who we also considered special friends.
Bill was so special to all who knew him. My father’s best friend and an Uncle to me. I was one of the many he taught to waterski in Whitefish! The partnership and bond he shared with my father was like no other, and I have always loved the laughter it brings my father when he tells one of their many stories! I loved Bill so much, and will miss him. -Paula Brunson

My most sincere condolences to the family, although I did not have the opportunity to meet him in person, I did have the privilege of speaking with him on several occasions about many interesting topics. Rest in peace "Amigo ".

My condolences to all the Johnson family. Our families go back a long way and when ever I ran into Bill we would talk about family. Bill was a of a hero to me. He was an ex CFL Lineman and we had that football connection. Rest easy my friend and thanks for always being kind and considerate to and my family.
There is not a lot of people like you in earth. I know wherever you are, you are telling fascinating stories and making everyone smile. See you one day my friend.
"Billy" will be dearly missed by our family. Great times in Whitefish where many stories, and glasses of wine, were shared. I don't remember him ever not having a smile on his face or not wanting to stop and visit. Cheers my friend!
Chris, Barb, and Lauren Erler.
