Allan David Courtney passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 3, 2022, at the age of 91 years.

Allan worked as a Special Constable for the RCMP aboard ship as a radio operator, he also worked on the AVRO Arrow; and while with the Department of Transport; later the Ministry of Transport, he lived in many smaller communities up north, making lifelong friends. Allan became involved with the programming of computers and lastly worked at the Calgary Mail Processing Plant, from which he retired in 1986. Upon retirement he moved to Oliver, BC, into an R2000 home which he had designed and had built. He spent time in the garden, daily walking, and spent many hours involved with the community.
