Obituary of Irene Mae Brouilette

Irene Brouilette of Calgary, AB, passed away peacefully with her daughter and granddaughter by her side and beloved dog, Sophie cuddling her. She passed from a short battle with cancer on her own terms on Thursday, February 3, 2022 at the age of 83 years.

Irene was born in Calgary, AB on November 12, 1938. She worked for Landtitles & Vitals Stats etc. as a supervisor, where she made lifelong friends.

Irene enjoyed reading and shopping.

Irene is survived by her daughter Tammy; two grandchildren, Kylee (Justin) and Adam (Venus) of Calgary, AB. She is also survived by her brother Terry (Joanne); and her two sisters, Margaret all of Calgary, AB, and Linda (Brad) of Vancouver, BC; as well as her nephews, Mark, and Joe, her niece Kerry (Phil) of Calgary, AB, and beloved dog Sophie. She was predeceased by her parents, Lily and Walker Birkett; her sisters, Marjorie (Red) Zimmer and brothers-in-law, Sandy Shields, and Stuart Bauer; and cherished pets, PJ, Sam, Beau-Beau, Candy, Katie and Lexi. She will be most happy to be meeting up with her pets again.

There will be no Funeral Service as per Irene's wishes. Condolences, memories, and photos may be shared and viewed here.
