Obituary of Edith Louise Moule

August 29, 1928 – Vancouver, British Columbia

February 6, 2022 – Calgary, Alberta

Surrounded by the love of her family, Edie Moule passed away on Sunday, February 6, 2022, at the age of 93.

Edie moved to Calgary in 1948 where she worked for the (then) Imperial Bank of Canada. Mom married our Dad, Richard (Dick) Moule on June 27, 1950.  Together, they raised four children, Peter (Young Ae Yune), Robert (Teresa), Brian (Shirley) and Dianne (Glen Petersen).  Edie was “Grannie” to Kayley (Amin) Fardi, Lisa (Graham) Sadoway, Bradley Moule and Courtney Moule and great-grandchildren, Ava and Mylo.

After raising her children, Edie rejoined the workforce with the Bank of Montreal and then Heritage Park. Edie’s love of singing led her to many choirs including Sweet Adeline’s (Chinook Winds Show Chorus), St. Andrew’s United Church choir and Calgary Choral Society to name a few.  

Edie is survived by extended family including her sisters, Anita Kilberg, Astrid Blomquist and Marilyn Nowoczin. She was predeceased by Dick in 2003 and her brother Albert (Al) in 2014.

Funeral Services will be held at McInnis & Holloway (Park Memorial, 5008 Elbow Drive SW, Calgary, AB) on Friday, February 11, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. Reception to follow in the Hospitality Centre at the Funeral Home. Condolences, memories, and photos may be shared and viewed here.
