Obituary of Beth Marie Hall

Beth Marie Hall beloved mother of Marsha Lott passed away quietly and peacefully on Sunday, February 6, 2022 at the age of 91 years.

Beth is predeceased by her loving husband Lyman T. Hall. Beth and Lyman loved each other and travelling. They started their journey together spending two years in Okinawa. They moved to Calgary and spent couple of summers in Banff National Park. Beth and Lyman loved traveling to Phoenix spending about 40 years as snowbirds, where they had so much fun with family and friends. 

Beth is a proud TABERITE and being the youngest of fourteen children, said she had a wonderful childhood, and loved horses, cats and dogs. 

Beth and Darryl Johnson married and had their daughter Marsha. The big city Calgary, beckoned Beth and she worked with and met many lifelong friends. Beth met and after a five-year engagement, married Joe Belk who was well respected in the oil industry. They always had friends and family in their home for BBQ’s, bowling, and especially Stampeders Football Game parties. Beth and Joe spent many games freezing at Mewata and McMahon stadiums. 

Beth was an excellent cook and excelled in baking pies, cakes, cookies and delicious meals for many family and friends. She was a wonderful seamstress and was a visiting teacher as a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and was known by many to lend a helping hand.

Beth is missed and loved by her daughter Marsha (Murray) Lott; four grandchildren, Michael (Claudia) Lott, Michelle (Allan) Payne, Mindy (Trampas) Mayfield and Maria Gray; ten great-grandchildren, Laura, Tiffany, Kristyn, Carson, Hunter, Emily, Forrest, Valen, Hailey, Kayla; and three great-great-grandchildren, Nora, Marcus, and Miley. 

A Family Graveside Service will be held at Queen’s Park Cemetery. Condolences, memories, and photos may be shared and viewed here.

In living memory of Beth Hall, a tree will be planted in the Ann & Sandy Cross Conservation Area.
