Obituary of Giuseppe Volpi

Giuseppe Volpi, beloved husband of Elizabeth “Iris” Volpi (nee Morgan), of Calgary, AB, passed away on Thursday, February 10, 2022, at the age of 89 years.

Giuseppe was born in Novelle, Italy, on December 7, 1932. He immigrated to Canada in 1952, and married his wife, Iris, in 1958. Giuseppe loved music and enjoyed golfing and bowling.

Besides his loving wife, Iris, Giuseppe is survived by his two sons, Robert, and Ronald; two grandchildren, Madeline, and Evan; as well as his brother Alex and his wife Myrt. Giuseppe is also survived by his special niece, Wendy Anderson, special nephew, Rick Morgan; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Giuseppe was predeceased by his parents Ferdinando and Camilla; his two brothers, Antonio, and Regimgio; and five sisters, Irene, Francesca, Anna, Maria, and Angela.

Funeral Services will be held at McInnis & Holloway (Chapel of The Bells, 2720 Centre Street North, Calgary, AB), on Tuesday, February 15, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. Condolences, memories, and photos may be shared and viewed here.
