Obituary of Lorna Ruth Flack

December 29, 1933 – February 11, 2022

Lorna Flack passed away on Friday, February 11, 2022 at the age of 88 years.

Lorna is survived by her sister Sheila (Clarence) Proctor, their children, Debra Ross, Don (Bonnie) Proctor, Diane (Scott) Learmonth, David Proctor and Darlene (Pierre L’Hoir) Proctor and their families.

Lorna was predeceased by her beloved husband and best friend Karl Schrottner (April 2011); her parents, Eva and Lorne McMurchy, and great-nephew Kim Proctor.

Lorna was a member of Lakeview United Church and took pride in organizing the Fellowship and Caring. Lorna and Karl spent fourteen years in their winter home in Yuma, Arizona, and travelled extensively world-wide, visiting over fifty countries and six continents. Lorna enjoyed her Saskatchewan Lake holidays with her sister and their growing families.

A Memorial Service will be held at Lakeview United Church, 3023 63 Avenue SW, Calgary, AB on Monday, March 14, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Jope Langejans officiating. A private family Graveside Service to follow at Eden Brook Memorial Gardens. Condolences, memories, and photos may be shared and viewed here.
