Lucella “Grace” Jones, beloved wife of Sydney Jones, passed away on Saturday, February 12, 2022, at the age of 92 years.

Grace was born in Calgary, AB, on February 21, 1929. She married the love of her life on June 3, 1949. If you ever needed to know how a man should love a woman, you just needed to look at Grace and Syd. Grace’s biggest joy in life was raising her children, Brad and Brenda. Grace was an active member and volunteer with the Alberta Children’s Hospital in Calgary for many years. She spent countless hours cuddling babies and knitting toques and blankets for the hospital. Grace believed so truly in heaven above and our Angels on earth. We know for certain there were many special Angels who guided her on her journey through life and her final journey to heaven.

Grace is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Brad and Connie Jones; her daughter and son-in-law, Brenda and Tom Stoddart; six grandchildren and their spouses, Kyra, Logan, Chelsea and Lance, Leesa and Jeff, and Cameron and Nicole; as well as four beautiful great grandchildren.

Grace is also survived by her stepsister Donna Schofield, as well as many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Grace was predeceased by her mother Eliza Jane Plecan, her father William Lee, husband Sydney Jones, sister Mary White, and brother William Lee.
