Shirley touched so many lives including my own. I met Shirley as the no hook Private; eager, up for it, cheerful and mighty. Half the size and twice the age of the other recruits... yet she topped most of her military training. She was a warrior and a mother. A friend and an example. We called her "The Tank" cuz she was literally unstoppable. I am a better person because of Shirley. I know in my heart, Shirley is continuing her great work above, but now without the chains of suffering, to slow her down. I feel her love and her impression and I feel peace that she completed her mission on this plane. May she know how much we love and miss and honour her. God be with you til we meet again my dear beautiful strong friend and comrade. Love you Shirley. My sincerest condolences to her family and loved ones. Warmly, SE Parkinson
Shirley was always a smiling face when attending any event or picking up her children while we were in elementary school together. I always loved saying hi to her and seeing her in the community as we live around the corner.
My condolences to her husband, children and family.
Shirley was an instant friend. We clicked when we first met and were inseparable that summer. It's was strange to see one without the other. And we played into that by getting matching outfits. Shirley always brought sunshine and happiness wherever we went. Office work was never as fun as it was with her. Shirley was one of the strongest people I've ever met. She was always up for an adventure and to try new things. We tried to do something new each day, making memories as we went.
She we be greatly missed. My condolences goes out to her family.
Sending all the love,
Ashley Ocran
Shirley was a fantastic person in all respects. Positive. Hardworking. Dedicated. Determined. She fought hard and now she is at rest. No more pain. No more sorrow. She will be greatly missed by all. God bless and keep Shirley and her family. Respect always.
