Obituary of Patricia Lynne Herron (nee Watwood)

January 16, 1951 - February 12, 2022

Our precious Trish, in the fullness of time, passed peacefully on Saturday February 12th surrounded by her family. She has gone home to her saviour Jesus Christ our Lord.

Trish was born on January 16th, 1951 in Calgary, Alberta. She embraced the world and everyone she met with love, kindness and grace. She lived by the acronym JOY - Jesus, Others and You, in that order. Trish always said "With God there is nothing we can't get through." After her faith, her family was her life's dedication. Her love of her husband, children and grandchildren was limitless. She had a special affinity for all of God's creatures and particularly her many furry companions. How fortunate they were to receive her unconditional love and care.

Trish is survived by her loving husband Bruce, who was the luckiest guy in the world to share his life with precious Trish. They met at the Grade 9 Halloween dance in 1965. Bruce told the pal he was with that he was gonna marry that girl. He was determined, as she wasn't an easy catch. She kept him on his toes. Her love of her beautiful daughter Angie (Rad) knew no bounds. Angie was Trish's best friend, rock and comforter.

She is also survived by her son Paul, his children Shealyn and Chase. Her most special son-in-law Stuey and grandchildren Abi, Taryn and Hadley (Monkey) and her brother Norman (Betty-Anne and Daniel).

We cannot express how deeply we appreciated the outstanding love, care and emotional giving Trish received from Dr. Carolynn Owen, Karen, Maida, Nicole and Camille at the Tom Baker as well as our friend and family physician, Dr. Rick Ward.

Services are scheduled for 1:00 pm on Friday February 18 at Centre Street Church - Central Campus, 3900 2nd Street NE Calgary, Alberta. If desired, donations may be made in Trish's honour to the Calgary Humane Society.
