Obituary of Oaklynn Nora Larsen

January 27 – February 14, 2022

With profound sadness and heavy hearts, the family of Oaklynn Larsen share of her passing on Monday, February 14, 2022 at the age of 18 days. Oaklynn passed away peacefully in the arms of her parents surrounded by the love of her family.

Oaklynn was born on January 27, 2022 after much anticipation and excitement. She was adored and cared for by her parents and siblings at home for 8 days before they learned of her heart condition and other injuries. Oaklynn was tended to at the Alberta Children’s Hospital, Stollery Children’s Hospital and Rotary Flames House before departing on St. Valentine’s Day. 

Oaklynn will be lovingly remembered by parents Ryan and Erica Larsen, her sister Jordynn, brother Brooks and dog Tucker; her grandparents, Lyle and Cynthia Parr, Dave and Diane Larsen; great-grandfather Paul Thielen; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Oaklynn was welcomed into heaven by triplet sisters Quinn, Calla and Henlee Larsen; her namesake “Granny” Lenora Parr; and great- grandparents Violet Thielen, Betty and Lavern Larsen, Bud and Sylvia Bloor.

Oaklynn will always be a reminder to love fiercely and be present in each moment. Her legacy will live on through acts of kindness and love.
