Obituary of Linda Joyce Stauffer
August 9, 1951 – Calgary, Alberta
February 18, 2022 - Airdrie, Alberta
Linda Stauffer beloved mother and grandmother, passed away on Friday, February 18, 2022 at the age of 70 years.
After graduating from Crescent Heights High school Linda started working in the oil and gas industry in Alberta. Throughout her life she also enjoyed her many different positions at the University of Calgary including at the Olympic Oval and the Chancellor's Office. She also volunteered with The Mustard Seed.
Linda loved to watch her three boys play hockey and baseball and more recently watching her grandchildren participate in all their activities. Linda also loved spending time throughout her life enjoying the lake in Windermere with family and friends.
Linda ’s favourite quote was "No matter what happens today the sun will always come up tomorrow". She will be most remembered for her endless love of her family, her ongoing generosity, and her reliability to be there in time of need.
Linda is survived by sons, Troy Lamb (Lisa Baron) of Calgary, Steve Lamb (Susan De Vita) of Airdrie and Kurtis Lamb of Calgary; her grandchildren, Isabella, Alessandra, Jaxson, Riley, Mason, and Lauren; and step-grandchildren Rylan and Cody; her brother Roy Stauffer (Veronica Stauffer) of Comox. Linda was predeceased by her parents, Jean Hall and Gerald Stauffer.
A Funeral Service will be held at McInnis & Holloway (Crowfoot, 82 Crowfoot Circle NW, Calgary, AB) on, Wednesday, March 2, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. Reception to follow in the Hospitality Centre at the Funeral Home. Family and friends who are unable to attend in person are invited to join Mrs. Stauffer’s service streamed live (see below) on the day of the service. For those who are unable to view live, a recording of the service will be posted.
