Obituary of Chad James Douglas Kowalchuk

It is with heavy hearts we announce the sudden passing of Chad Kowalchuk on Friday, February 18, 2022, at the age of 53 years.

Chad is survived by his brother Dean Kowalchuk (Jacquie), of Calgary, AB; sisters Lorissa Kowalchuk (Colin) of Grandview, MB, Kristie Nesbitt (Ben), of Swift Current, SK; nieces Katherine Kowalchuk, Lauren Lesiuk, Autumn Lesiuk; and nephews Spencer Kowalchuk, Carter Kowalchuk and Elliott Nesbitt.

Chad was predeceased by his father Doug Kowalchuk, and Mother (Ma) Frances Bennink.

A Celebration of Chad’s Life will be held at McInnis & Holloway (Eastside, 5388 Memorial Drive NE, Calgary, AB) on Saturday, February 26, 2022 at 2:30 p.m. Reception to follow in the Hospitality Centre at the Funeral Home. Family and friends who are unable to attend in person are invited to join Mr. Kowalchuk's service streamed live (see below) on the day of the service. For those who are unable to view live, a recording of the service will be posted. Condolences, memories, and photos can also be shared and viewed here.
