Condolences
I will treasure my life with Ellis in Calgary. We had great times having dinner and conversation with Earl and Darlene.
Also we enjoyed when our kids and grandchildren came to visit.
Part of our time was spent remembering our Minnedosa school days. School dances, the beach, and especially the skating rink.
I will remember him with love forever.

Grampa, thank you so much for being such a supportive and nurturing family member for me. Thank you for driving me to and from my first wrestling meet when I was 13. I lost all but one of my rounds and left with a bloody nose and eyes full of tears, but you did and said everything you could to keep my fragile teenage ego together. Thank you for taking me to pick up that secondhand guitar that morning before my late-morning classes started in high school. I never played Happy Birthday on it for you and Grandma like you always joked about, but that thing is still in great shape and I play it all the time. Thank you for teaching me how to slow down and take things slow when I was an anxious teen who only knew how to go full speed.
There's not enough room or time to go over all the goofy jokes, the stories you told me, or the walks with Keno in the park, but thank you for all of them.
John
We are sending our deepest sympathy to the Williamson family and Ellis partner, Donna Hansen. We will cherish the memories we had river picnics, Sunday and birthday dinners. Ellis was a very close to Earl Smith since 1957 and Darlene Knight (8 yrs). This man had a great sense of humour and a contagious laugh. As the say “Carry On Soldier”. He will never be forgotten ! Your friends Darlene Knight and Earl Smith
My condolences to the Williamson family.
I served with Ellis a number of times and in different places . A great soldier and staunch Strathcona throughout his career . Friend and mentor to many . Example to all . Always said what was needed to be said . Not what what was expecting to be heard .

My condolences to the family, I served with Ellis several times in Calgary when we were both soldiers and, as officers, we crossed paths often. He was always a fine example for others to follow. He will not be forgotten.
Patti, Carm, Brad, Diane, Ted and all of the Grands,
We would like to send our sincere condolences to your entire family on the death of Uncle El. Lots of good times over the years. May he R.I.P.

Mila and I extend our deepest condolences to Patti , Brad and Ted.
El was a great father, husband, professional officer and friend.
We got to know El and his family in Trenton, both of our families involved in the swim club attending swim meets up and down the St Lawrence.
We were able to reconnect in MooseJaw and Dundurn where El was the detachment Commander. He displayed true professionalism while commanding a vast detachment. You can tell just from the photo above that he was a soldier’s soldier true to his duty and responsibility.
It was a pleasure knowing El and his family as well as being a fellow officer.

Patti, Carmen, Brad, Diane, Ted and families.
He was a great brother-in law. I met him at Easter 1962, on my first visit to the Ingram household.
Lots of special times after that.
A couple I especially remember. El on the tractor at Howpark Farms, working up some prairie sod.
Touring Calgary with him, as he made CAA calls.
My thoughts are with you all.
Uncle Doug
