Obituary of Jacob Eli Saddleback-Walsh

Jacob Eli Saddleback-Walsh passed away on Friday, February 25, 2022 in his mother’s and father’s arms and surrounded by love after battling HIE. He was born on August 10, 2021 and although his life was short he made such a big impact on so many people. He was loved very deeply and will be greatly missed. 

His family will forever cherish the memories as the brief gift it was. Jacob is survived by his parents, Chance Walsh and Isabella Saddleback; his great-grandmothers, Ann Jourdain and Ginger Wildcat; grandparents, Vanessa Paris, Mervin Schochenmaier, Jacqueline Johnson, Barry Saddleback, Clint Chapdelaine; his siblings, Nevaeh Saddleback and Isadora Wells; his great aunt Sophia Walsh, his aunt Trisha Soosay, and many other family members.

It is our wish that Jacob has been reunited and welcomed with our family members who have passed away: Stanley Green, Jacob’s great-grandfather; Emily Scott, Jacob’s great great-grandmother; Susan Walsh, Jacob’s grandmother; and Chelsey Johnson who is Jacob’s Aunt. 

To honor Jacob the family welcomes all to his Funeral Services at McInnis & Holloway (Eastside, 5388 Memorial Drive NE, Calgary, AB) on Saturday, March 5, 2022 at 12:30 p.m. Graveside Service to follow at Rocky View Garden of Peace Cemetery. Reception to follow in the Hospitality Centre at the Funeral Home until 4:00 p.m. Condolences, memories, and photos may be shared and viewed here.
